Bootcamp in programming, math and probability

The course introduces programing in Python and R and reviews fundamental math and probability concepts needed in computational finance. The concepts and methods are introduced utilizing examples from economics and finance. By the end of the course, participants should be able to confidently write codes in Python and R that address typical some fundamental concepts in finance and economics, work efficiently with financial data and create sophisticated data visualizations, understand some of the key concepts in calculus, linear algebra and probability,  and learn how they apply to problems that we face in finance and economics.
